Noosa Heads Apartment

Picture

The client's request for a 'simple' firebox and coffee table resulted in a transformation of the living room!  The ecosmart stainless steel firebox is housed in a calacatta marble fireplace creating a contemporary version of the hearth.  An angled shelf appears to pierce the fireplace and acts as a great place to display precious items and helps anchor the firebox into position.

The addition of a large, silver-framed mirror acts as a dramatic extension to the fireplace.  A light fitting has been fitted through the mirror appears to float, creating a feature whether illuminated or not

The floating effect is continued to the coffee table where the main surface cantilevers from a wrapped around middle, the effect is heightened by the use of two different timber veneers.

Contemporary Design, Noosa Springs

Picture
This interior renovation has completely transformed a well planned but dated villa, into a luxurious retreat with a feeling of Italian decadence and as the client says a 'touch of New York'. It was a pleasure to work with such wonderfully trusting clients who supported every design decision we suggested, from finishes selections, to the addition of room dividers, selection of light fittings, appliances etc.

The result is light, bright, comfortable luxury with a real "wow" factor by the addition of dark glossy features such as the stone splashback in the kitchen, the buffet/bar furniture piece at the end of the kitchen, the floating vanities in the bathrooms, and light fittings.

The finished interior was the perfect support for their existing furniture and the end result is exceptional.

New York...New York.....

Sunshine Beach Home

Picture
This recently completed executive-style home in Sunshine Beach flows around a central 'spine' of timber joinery up the central stairway which connects the 3 levels. This spine provides ample storage (concealed and open) and rich texture within an otherwise neutral colour scheme. White walls, acres of glass and grey cfc sheet floors provide the background, while the joinery adds flair with white corian, 2pac, rich red timbers, basalt stone, stainless steel and feature laminates.

Splash of Colour, Noosa Sound

A complete interior refurbishment involving some extremely creative space planning, the reconfiguring of services and the demolition of walls in order to add an ensuite into an already compact floor plan. New kitchen, bathroom, robes, light fittings and all new finishes were part of the final scope. An incredibly trusting client allowed this to be an exceptionally fluid programme of work.

Refurbishment of a Stephen Kidd home in Buddina; redesign of all areas, new kitchen, new bathrooms, laundry, furniture, finishes, fixtures and fittings.

Classic Luxury, Noosa Sound

Picture
Complete gutting and refurbishment of this riverside apartment. With a stunning location but an awkward floorplan, limited natural light and a tight deadline, this project offered a few challenges, but the result is a compact, classy retreat including all of the luxuries expected of this holiday destination: Vintec wine fridge, coffee station, executive style bathroom, leather padded bedheads, frameless mirror to maximise natural light etc..

Rustic Beachy Design, Sunshine Beach

Picture
This home by the sea in Sunshine Beach has become a fantastic example of barefoot luxury. In collaboration with these imaginative and creative clients, we have managed to incorporate many collectibles acquired from their overseas adventures and the result is both rustic and tactile, perfectly suited to its seaside location.

Modern Style, Netanya Noosa

Refurbishment of finishes in this Hasting St apartment. The timber furniture is all limewashed oak, the joinery is a combination of 2pac and reconsituted stone.

High Impact on a Budget Kitchen

Picture
The perfect example of how an adventurous client teamed with some good design advice can result in a compact kitchen with high impact on a teeny tiny budget.

Custom Entertainment Wall, Noosa Springs

Picture
With these overseas owners wanting to spend more time back in their Noosa Springs home, it was necessary to build an entertainment wall that could house all of their sound and movie equipment as well as their vast CV and DVD collections.  Leather upholstered/2pac slatted sliding panels 3m high glide with the push of one finger to expose a timber veneered interior housing speakers and drawers to accommodate the collections.  Subtle and discrete, yet soft and textural, this wall unit provides a huge amount of storage, as well as housing discrete lighting and speakers, and allowing for ventilation as required for the top-of-the-range equipment it is housing.
