Established in 1993, Licester Joinery is one of the first operational cabinet makers in Noosa.
Almost 3 decades on - due to the support and loyalty of our ongoing clients - we are proud to still remain an integral part of the Business Community in Noosa.
In a highly technologically advanced society, it's easy to lose touch of the traditional methods of building and construction, which is why we are proud to be one of the few cabinet makers left that work the conventional way.
Albeit a small team, we pack a massive punch!
David Mills, Director
David began his building career in 1990 in his family’s building company, which specialised in commercial and domestic renovations and new homes. Moving on to sub-contract with local builders under his own name allowed David to gain extensive trade experience. In the mid 1990s, David joined a commercial construction company, managing projects including a new hospital medical unit, a resource centre at a high school, 26 home units, two convenience and major fast food outlets, a sporting complex and a health care centre.
David holds a level IV Certificate in Building Technology, and qualifications in building energy rating design, carpentry, painting, plastering, concreting, paving and tiling.
Gabrielle Simon, Interior Designer
Graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009 with BA (Hons) Fine Arts, Gabrielle travelled to Australia where she discovered her passion for design.
Gabrielle joined the Licester family in 2014 where she also completed her Diploma in Interior Design & Decoration.
Shane Skinner, Cabinet Maker
Shane is a fully qualified cabinet maker and has been apart of the Licester Joinery family for 22 years. Shane is our quiet achiever and is the calm in the factory during those times of chaos and stress.
Çintra, Client Greeter
Meet Çintra the newest member of the team. A very friendly 3 year old Doberman that loves to meet new people. That's of course if you don't mind being licked.
You'll usually see her laying on the concrete drive way outside or roaming around the factory floor.
